Travel and hotel information for the conference

The Knight Foundation is supporting economy travel expenses for one person per project to participate in the conference (with some exceptions are being made for 2009 Knight News Challenge projects.) Please let Brad Seawell (seawell@mit.edu) know ASAP whether or not you are planning to attend.

Travel
Please make your own travel arrangements directly with The Travel Collaborative, which is the conference travel agent. Two travel professionals at The Travel Collaborative have been designated to work with you on arranging your travel to and from the conference. Please contact either Roy Palmeri (800-370-7400, ext. 45 or roy@tvlcoll.com) or Thom Mulhern 800-370-7400, ext. 49. or tam@tvlcoll.com) and let them know you are part of the "Knight Civic Media Conference" and they will assist you.

Hotel
All room reservations should be made by emailing Brad Seawell at seawell@mit.edu and using the subject line: Knight Hotel. The Cambridge Marriott adjacent to the MIT campus is the conference hotel. Please do not contact the hotel directly. Let Brad know for which nights you need a hotel room and you will receive a confirmation from the Marriott if you haven't already received one.
