Have a great idea for a phone or web app that uses MBTA data? Want to play with real-time bus tracking information? Interested in encouraging data transparency in local governement agencies? Come join our hackathon. Public transportation is vital to life as we know it in Cambridge and Boston--come help make it an even better experience!
Suggested projects:
- A simple, clean web interface for accessing real-time bus location data
- Construct a kit that helps business owners set up their own LED scrollboards that display when the next bus is coming
- Text message interface for retrieving schedule information
- And, of course, anything you can think up!
